We are now 4 days into our Kickstarter Crowdfunding campaign. It is exciting times and we are all very proud and humble to have been Staff Picked already by the Kickstarter crew.
Thank you for your support and for launching the platform here in Denmark. It is a fantastic portal to with endless possibilities for entrepreneurs like ourselves. We started the local promotion of the Gaiteye Sensor in Denmark some 3 months ago. This was followed up by attending the Berlin Vital expo fair in connection with the Berlin Marathon.
Since then we have already collected more than 100 pre-orders through our own webshop and through demo meetings with different stakeholders in the industry including larger sport outlets, physiotherapists, running coaches, biomechanical experts and the like.
Based on this initial positive feedback from the market, we are convinced that we have winning concept for running athletes across the globe. We are therefore ready to go global with a second campaign ramping up for production to be delivered before the next running season end of Q1 2015 sets in.On behalf of the whole Gaiteye team, I want to take the opportunity to thank all of our supporters out there, who has helped us reach this far – you know who you are. It is only due to your support that we have reached this far in the development and launch of our product and the reason for why we have a relatively low funding goal compared to most Kickstarter projects.
After 4 days we are already 10% funded, but we need all the help we can get to reach our goal before the campaign ends on the 19th. December.
Please share our kickstarter campaign with your friends and network within the running community.
